1. McCain of July 2008 doesn't even remember the McCain of January 2008--
he can't even keep track of his own positions and statements from week to week, let alone actively and deliberately change his mind (which requires more operable/firing neurons than he has left). So the media must project the flip-flopper charge onto Obama, valid or not, so that SOMEONE is the official flip-flopper of the 2008 campaign (gotta have one--it's a tradition now!). Otherwise, if the American people were reminded of just how many issues McCrazy has done a 180 on, the race wouldn't be close--it would be effectively over.
