5. I've been a die-hard TdF fanatic...until this year.

The athletes and WADA have made an absolute circus of the sport and I just don't care enough to watch anymore. It seems to me that the goal of professional cycling is no longer to be the best climber, the fastest time trialist, the fastest overall...it seems that the winner is the person who can best avoid the doping witch hunters or the "journalists" salivating over another doping scandal (eg le Equipe, etc).

Last year did it for me with all the dropouts. I still like biking but will pass on the official circuit for a while.
