Kristol: Bush believes he is leaving Iraq in pretty good shape for next president

http://www.usnews.com/usnews/politics/bulletin/bulletin_080707.htm

Bush: Pakistan, Not Iraq, Next President's Big Task

On Fox News Sunday, Bill Kristol recounts that in a 90-minute, mostly off-the-record meeting with a small group of journalists last week, President Bush "conveyed the following impression, that he thought the next president's biggest challenge would not be Iraq, which he thinks he'll leave in pretty good shape, and would not be Afghanistan, which is manageable by itself. ... It's Pakistan." We have "a sort of friendly government that sort of cooperates and sort of doesn't. It's really a complicated and difficult situation."

2. billy kristol - the smug little kid who is now 'getting even' with all those guys...
who picked on him...you know the 'yeah, you were stronger, but i am smarter, so i'll send your strong ass off to war' type...

these neoconazis who are all for global war to prove...what? again...

yesterday was the first time in a while i watched/listened to this snob spout his warmongering crap...

he needs to sign up for military service...he missed viet nam (go figure) though he was of prime age and had been in the draft/lottery phase of the system...

volunteering HIS OWN ASS was something he didn't seem to agree with in '70 to '73 when he was 18 and the shit was still hitting the fan...

typical...i guess it makes him like nearly EVERY other neoconazi who now see war as the solution to everything...

and, for the time being, it HAS worked out just fine for them and their cronies...

5. Well, Bush's judgment has always been a keen barometer
Whatever he says, you can bet that reality will be anywhere from 150 to 210 degrees different, so Kristol is as much as saying that Bush has - like his daddy before him - left a huge steaming pile of foreign policy ineptitude behind for his successor. Makes taking the W keys off the keyboards (that were going to be replaced anyway) look like a little prank by comparison.

Yet, which situation seems to rivet the attention of major media folks? Say "Somalia" and you get a look like a dog watching a card trick; say "missing W keys" and they slobber like Pavlov's dogs when the bell rang.

9. When the war started "going south", Kristol called for Rumsfeld's
firing. Kristol blames everyone but himself and his PNAC pals for the failures in Iraq and Afghanistan.

10. Setting up the propaganda now, I see. Maybe McCain really is going to lose.
From Kristol's ludicrous claim on Iraq, to John Stossel's weird insistence that the economy is doing great, it sounds like these people are getting themselves ready for January, when they can start saying, 'everything was getting better until we got a Democratic president'.

11. Pretty good shape for what exactly???
Perhaps... pretty good shape for the most hideous criminal action committed on behalf of the most criminal administration in American history?

Yeah...sounds right to me. :eyes:

13. HA!
Have the neocon clowns EVER got anything right?????

Their big-scary-world-domination plan was supposed to be a raving success. Oh yes...we'd invade
Iraq, and take over the country in two hours, then move on to the Iran--which would be another "cakewalk"
and soon Syria would be ours. Then, all of the riches in the Middle East would be handed over to the
United States and our country would be mighty, powerful and loved like kittens--for the rest of mankind.

THAT was their plan.

THAT is what these assclowns actually thought up inside some smoke-filled board room, and actually
believed would happen.

How can we now be surprised when they continue their assclownery with these ridiculous statements?

They're all a bunch of low-rent, stupid thugs.

Neocons = The Sopranos without brains.
