You Might Want To leave Your Child Behind
http://www.crooksandliars.com/2008/07/07/bush-to-pass-on-teaching-career-to-replenish-the-ol-coffers/

“A totally crazy Saturday-morning thought: Wouldn’t George W. Bush make an awesome high-school government teacher? Wouldn’t it be something if his post-presidential life would end up being that kind of post-service service? How’s that for a model? Who needs Harvard visiting chairs and high-end lectures? How about Crawford High? (Or wherever?) Reach out and touch the young before they are jaded, or break them of the cynicism pop culture and possibly their parents have passed down to them. Whatever you think of President Bush, he’s a likable guy in love with his country with some history and experience to share.”

4. Even if it isn't a real picture, it sure is a metaphor for this guy's view on education.
As an educator, the thought of this man anywhere near vulnerable young children frightens me to the core. :scared:

10. Every time I see him around children it gives me the creeps
I'm not suggesting he's got the alleged problems of Rush Limbaugh, but I think he likes posing for photo-ops where he pretends to like children and interact with them when he really doesn't give a crap.

6. The quote was made by
a mindless idiot who thinks Dubya would be a positive role model. I cringe at the thought of how his class would take shape. Gives me the creeps.
