Beltway myth: "The left-wing base" vs. "the American people" on Iraq
This is a very good article from Salon.com exposing corporate media propaganda: http://www.salon.com/opinion/greenwald/2008/07/07/leftist_fringe/index.html

4. This isn't unusual
And it's the ultimate use of the media in a country as large as ours. They tell you that the sane view is the minority one("losers"), and that the insane view is the of the greater number and that of the "winners."

I saw this in action the other day. I was listening to a Public Broadcasting radio station(religious). They have good classical music. On the other hand, there they were spouting the BS about how religious people "have been shown in studies to have a lower divorce rate and less marital problems."

Study after study has disproved that myth. But I learned a valuable lesson as a kid- if you say a lie often enough when no one calls the person on it, it becomes accepted truth.

Buyer beware, everyone.

6. Yep, I used to listen to NPR as well
I stopped after hearing all of their pro-war propaganda back in March of 2003.
