GEORGETOWN, Guyana (AP) — Guyanese authorities say a first-class airline passenger was so angry at seeing economy passengers leave a jetliner before him that he yanked open an emergency hatch and slid down the chute.
Police spokesman Sealall Persaud says the Guyanese man identified as Satyanand Christopher appeared to be intoxicated after the Delta Air Lines flight from New York.

I was so scared. There's no sides and I was sure I was going to fall overboard. What gets me is those doors are hard to push open if the slide is hooked. He must not have been too drunk to get it open.

4. I've wanted to do that

Not because I was in first class.

But when I've sat on the runway for 2 hours and they refuse to let us go back to the gate. I've wanted to just open the emergency door and walk off the plane. Of course, my desire to not get arrested was greater than my desire to get off the plane.
