Repetition is the process of recollection, a teacher of mine used to say. Although this is only partially correct because one can enhance this process by altering the scope by which one looks at any given reality.

Haven't we all had a "What the hell was I thinking?" moment looking for something we likely looked directly at more than once? Usually in my own case the cause is I am attention divided, and my brain starts utilizing its last known good memory of where I seek, verses building a new one.

And once again like clockwork the folks from the fabulous science division of the bfee once again ping our memories so that we don't build new ones. How do I know they are re-establishing the same, all hype with no new information, oh and they don't even repackage...

As soon as you change the scope of the details the mind begins to wander into new thinking, thoughts, and possibly even disagree with the original premise.

Sounds like quite a problem for the traitorous _errorists engaged in promoting bfee hyperbole as factual reality.

A person can force assumptions as long as they retain the scope of thinking that produces the ability to believe such. However once they realize that "nothing just falls apart", nothing starts at the top an falls into a pile of its pieces they can begin to see the assumptions and the flaws that made them believe such could be true. I used to believe that buildings could dissemble into a pile of pieces until I realized that all examples I have to compare are engineered collapse sequences... So how do both result in the same subsequently if one believes they are not the same? A question for the ages...
