It's still a great country sometimes, folks
Just to see that juror today saying, "Why are we wasting our time with this guy...where's Rove?" made me feel as patriotic as I've ever felt.

Imagine, Libby was at the right hand of the shadow President, and a group of everyday people were daring to think bigger things, even as they were laying him to waste. Our legal system, which, yes, sanctioned an outrageous and disastrous outcome in 2000, is still capable of greatness.

There are many, many places on earth where today would not have been possible. The common man struck a blow to power today and, by golly, did it feel goooooooooooooooood.

1. I was glad to hear him say that too
I had been very skeptical because of how long the jury was out but I was proven wrong

2. I feel like uploading a clip of him
Then posting it whenever the regularly scheduled "the American public is stupid" posts are made.

That fellow wasn't a scholar, he wasn't a pundit, he was an average person, as were all the others,
and they saw very clearly what had happened.

3. Unfortunately, Rove must not have lied to investigators
Scooter's big mistake was fibbing, when the truth would have merely embarrassed his bosses. I have very faint hope that this is going to lead to further prosecution; it looks like the investigators don't want to get into a constitutional crisis by charging Bush et. al. with actions they'll claim are OK under presidential prerogative. Now, plain old lying to investigators, that they jumped all over. Disclosing classified info? By the pres., VP and their designated hatchet men, who arguably can do that? No prosecutor wants to touch that.

4. No, it isn't any longer. It just still has some great people in it.
