Since the right to Life is guaranteed under the Constitution
Isn't adequate and reasonable healthcare then already promised us by our constitution? Couldn't a legal case be made that since the Insurance companies are demonstrably interfering with our constitutional right to healthcare that they should be removed from the system except for optional procedures like nose jobs?

Would any lawyers care to weigh in?

Thanks!

1. No, the right to life is not guaranteed in the constitution.
Dunno where you got that from.

And the constitution limits government from infringing on your rights, not insurance companies.

4. Maybe that "endowed by their Creator" part
... yeah, don't go there. We wouldn't want any pre-birth types getting any ideas they had any "rights."

3. I guess then it depends on the definition of life.
The current culture of life sure doesn't mind bringing about death outside the womb. Also, abortion was legal at the time of the Constitution. Most bans against abortion began after the Civil War.

5. I think we have to be careful how far we press that, or the anti-choice jerks
will pick up on it as a meme.

7. That's in the Declaration of Independence, not the Constitution
nor the Bill of Rights.

12. Right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness is not found in the US Constitution but in the
Declaration of Independence. It's a common mistake.
