3. Political Cover - Nothing More!
Obama is nothing more than any other politician! He just gives great speeches! His moves the last few weeks are showing who he is and I am more than disheartened. From the beginning I was voting for the Democratic nominee no matter who it was, was I have since I first started voting. This round I started out supporting Edwards because he spoke to the issues I cared about. When he dropped out I later switched to Obama due to his oratory and how he managed his campaign. I also was not a fan of Hillary! But I would have voted for her. The article posted on Huffington today expressed a lot of my reactions to Obamas recent moves.

If anything were to come of this, could make the convention very interesting!

9. Yeah, cause all of Obama's "recent moves" are so much worse than a vote for the Iraq war.
BTW, has she apologized yet.

Give me a fuckin break. Our Democratic candidate is leading by a large margin in electoral votes and the extreme left thinks we need to kick him out. And you pretend to be smart with your comments?

16. he said had he seen the same intelligence, he would have voted for this war.
Please don't forget that this administration LIED us into war. The Senate intelligence committee was LIED TO, and given FALSE 'intelligence'.

13. Yeah, cuz...
Hillary is soooooooooooo much further left than Obama. I mean, she stood up for Democratic Ideals when she voted Yes to the war in Iraq and Yes on the bankruptcy bill. :eyes:

5. This is what we should be pushing instead of tilting at windmills
and attacking Obama because we are afraid of what MIGHT happen in the future.

7. Just as he promised he would
He said he would vote to make the bill better and then vote to pass the compromise bill even if the amendment did not pass.

19. No, but I wanted to be surprised
For just one f'ing time in my life, I wanted to be proved wrong. In a letter to him I asked him to do just that.

It sucks to be right sometimes.

As I said in another post, I am joining the Apathetic Party. It has a HUGE membership in this country.

21. I don't think refusing to participate in a corrupt system is apathy.
Kind of like walking away from a fixed poker game.

on the floor regarding this bill.

Sorry, but nothing new here.
