that we have Democrats in Congress who love the prestige of heading committees and having titles, but who are satisfied with that and won't stick their necks out when it comes to taking hard positions on the issues. They're more interested in having the corner office than in representing the people.

are supposed to have the right to go to court. The Senate just removed that right. and retroactively at that!!!!!!

...since the Democrats are the majority in both houses, they can hardly be called the "opposition party", now can they? The President has executive powers to be sure, but he doesn't run Congress.
Except, of course, when the majority party allows him to. Like the Republican majority did until 2006.
Oh, and like the Democratic majority still does.
Sigh.
