1. Thank you! I learn more about what's REALLY going on by |
|
watching the SFRC committee. An impressive group of people who really know their stuff!
This should be interesting as today on the front pages of msnbc.com and cnn.com the headlines were about Iran -- their bombs, their testing, threatening quotes from their military, and an admin guy saying Iran is our greatest concern. Greasing the skids for war -- I want to hear a different side (or additional info) from a source other than the MSM.

The hearing hasn't started yet because of the active vote on the Senate floor. It will probably commence closer to 3:00 pm, after the FISA vote finishes.
Active votes on the floor trump hearings in terms of what compels the attendance of Senators.
The SFRC feed is RealAudio and I often have problems getting that. Right now I am getting a "Hearing will start soon" notice, but I am getting a feed.

And stand by.
I'm on pins and needles listening to the FISA vote now.

12. Cool -- meaning, I'm assuming, that this is a topic that will get a lot |
|
of attention? (As it should!).
I'm switching over from the FISA debacle now.
