Most of them at least would be FAR worse, surely. E.g. the one in South Dakota - the other Senator there is Thune, a complete nutcase.

Or do you mean third-party candidates?

I've voted consistently for parties other than our two main ones (in Britain) since Blair got the Labour leadership, but I'd never vote Tory; still less for anyone like a Bushie Republican.
