What do you DUers think of T. Boon Pickens push for energy alternatives.
This isn't getting as much play as I thought it might with the candidates.

1. I don't trust him.
His ad calls for wind and solar to "free up" natural gas. And, that will lead to us getting off foreign oil.

He also plays loose with some Oil cost/Iraq War cost figures.

I am happy to hear anyone call for increases in renewables, but I don't trust him.

4. Oil barons have been buying "green" patents for decades
They used to buy them to keep them OFF the market, and to keep the R&D money from flowing their way..
By now they have probably secured a significant amonut of the patents necessary to bigfoot us all with solar/wind energey that they will happily switch to once they get big-gubbmint to pony up the cash to them..

Any water resource, distributor, bottler, transporter. We'll all be paying $5/gal of water before too long.

BUT---I happen to agree with him. We need to expand solar and wind technologies.
