Can someone tell me what the ads by T.Boone Pickens is running every half hour about energy is all about and what he is saying??? He is one of the weathiest people in the US and i know he isnt doing this without a motive so does anyone know what it is????

Iow, a professional investor. I respect his market knowledge. Not as much as Jimmy Rodgers, but he aint dumb.
Realize that hedge fund managers have an incentive to push investment themes they are participating in. It helps create demand.
Of course you want to establish your long position BEFORE pimping.
Nothing illegal about this. It's not front running, which is a bit different

Whenever you see a GOP operative doing anything that doesn't follow their "guns, gays and greed" policy, they're sending up a trial balloon to condition us to their way of thinking believing.
My guess is they want us to believe the GOP has the solution for the energy crisis they created by manipulating the market, without saying they manipulated the market.
Essentially, they want voters to believe the GOP will fix every problem that just happens to make it on the airwaves.
Today it's high gas prices.
