Her job in Iraq was bomb detection and disposal. Very frightening for me.

I babysat her occasionally from infancy. She then babysat my daughters when they were babies. Then she became a career soldier. Then came Iraq. I've been a nervous wreck about her all along and then, on her third tour of duty in Iraq, they assign her to BD&D duty!

I am going to Georgia as soon as I can scrape the gas money together and I'm going to give her and giant hug and never let go!

5. Thanks! We're all thrilled and her mother is with her this very
night treating her to dinner earlier and last I heard they were swilling mojitos in somewhere in Savannah. =)

6. Yes it is great news! Thanks! I sortof knew she was supposed to be
coming home this month but she wasn't absolutely sure. And when I was calling my aunt, her mother, a little while ago on other business, my cousin answered the phone acting like her mother but I knew it was her but not before having a little fun first =). She thought she had me fooled.

8. Give her a hug and a "thank you" from me too. I'm really happy
for your whole family that she is home safe.

10. Thanks. After the disappointing day today, it was a real
pick-me-up to hear the good news.

With any luck, I'll be sipping champaigne with her very soon.
