My neighbor has a bountiful garden... |
|
but he can't even give away his vegetables (except to me and a couple other neighbors). Why? Because the nitwit MSM has everyone so scared of salmonella, that no one wants it.
When did so many people lose the ability to think for themselves? Are they really that gullible? Stupidity, that is the real threat. Folks that sit in front of their TVs and buy into every single word.
And I cannot think of anything to combat it. :(

7. I have a nice garden but it makes me sick |
|
Apparently dust carried on dry winds contains several bacteria (from dog feces in surrounding yards?). I am not able just wash spinach or lettuce I have to cook it or rinse it in diluted bleach or else I get pretty sick.

2. I would think that produce grown in a private garden would be safer |
|
Than that which comes from some big agri-corp. I would gladly take his veggies.

6. When our kids were small we had a large garden |
|
We could not give away zucchini's nobody wanted them. And we had thousands of them. So we put them in paper bags and told the kids to get up early and leave the bags on the neighbors front steps.
The garden we have now is bigger but we have mostly beans, tomatoes and peppers. We never have any trouble giving them away. I'm not saying the people we know aren't stupid but maybe they just don't watch TV.
