1. Oooooh They Shot A Missile...They Shot A Missile
What a bunch of chickenshits. Also a bunch of demogauges. Be assured Gramps is more than in favor of any US missile test as "self defense", but when someone else does it...especially a country under the direct threat (on three sides) from an out-of-control "superpower", then it's some threat.

Here we go again with more sabre rattling and market instability. Part of me says that boooosh should just get this thing over with...what the hell...we're all heading in that direction anyway.

:hi:

6. Notice how Susan continues on and on with the rhetoric
I wish someone would call her and ask who owns most of the newspapers she's mentioned.

7. I'm Still Looking For The "Librul" Media
For the too many years I worked in "the media", I only worked with one company that had a liberal owner...and that was a very small company. Every other one was owned by a Conservative...most were tolerant of us long haired hippies cause we brought in all that record company and beer company money. Newspapers were even more Conservative as they all but live within the business community and profits always trump all else...being at the Rotary, being on the board of the local GOOP and being a big wheel at the local church is how these guys make their fortunes.

I've long called C-SPIN for what it is...very subtle and they pull the game off very well, but anyone who watches over a period of time can't help but see the rightward lean of this operation.

Cheers...

2. 'Fraid you're right. Heard on WCBS radio this morning "SHOWDOWN WITH IRAN!"
(with dramatic music in the background) to report Iran shot missiles for the second day, and Condi "warning" this country will "protect its allies . . . "

We're being primed for the fuse being lit.

5. Sure, but Iran is a product this administration has to have the media sell for it.

4. This Is Amusing
One lady calls to say that the Constitution says boooshie can remain in office if there's some "extraordinary" emergency. Susan asks her to back it up. The lady says, "I know the facts and that what it says"...Susan just lets her ramble

This last call also was a gem...he rightly calls her out on her letting these nutjobs get out there and spew unchallenged and Susan cites the internet? Uh pardon me. If you make a claim on a website, be prepared to back it up..."I know the facts" won't wash here. And their mikes are far more tightly controlled than any website is.

Yep...the drumbeats for war and bloodlust on the right is wagging not just the dog, but the whole damn kennel.

8. How did this country become so full of war hawks? Are Americans so stupid or afraid that they
believe no other country in the world should be able to arm themselves?
