It pisses me off. I will almost ALWAYS side with the victim. We are being treated like a nation of suspects. In fact, actual crime suspects seem to have more rights than we do when we fly.

Was the woman on the tape being a jerk? Did she mouth off to the TSA people riffling through her belongings? Who the fuck cares? This whole process puts people off, intimidates them, is DESIGNED to make them feel helpless and docile.

Fuck that. People react.

This whole thing just underscores the reason why I FUCKING HATE to fly and FUCKING HATE the gestapo tactics this MOTHERFUCKING administration has put in place.

1. Exactly why I'm not flying anywhere.

The last flight I took from Tulsa To Albany was reminiscent of the lines boarding the trains for Auswitch. In Tulsa we had a security person decked out in riot gear barking orders like I was back in basic training.

The trip before that I was pulled out of line 'cause I had too many pockets in my shorts!

The next time I leave my hometown it will be by train or on foot. Gas is too expensive to go anywhere by vehicle.

I will not be treated like a criminal. Fuck that.

3. Interesting. I fly 2 or 3 times a month and never come into THAT level

of scrutiny. I'll make sure to stay away from Tulsa.

It's a hassle, kicking off the shoes and pulling out the laptop, but you do it, you walk through the machine, you put your shoes back on, gather up your stuff, and go to the gate. 99% of the time, it's no big deal for me.

I'm sorry your experience has been so different.
