Republicans better hope there is no terrorist attack against America between now and the election |

Bush and his Repig cronies got everything they asked for under the guise of national security and that it was needed to protect our country.
They had better not let anything happen here now or it will be all on the Republicans and the terrorists they helped create.

...way too much credit for intelligence.
If there is an attack, the right-wing press will go into overdrive, "proving" that it was the fault of the "Democratic Congress." Pundits will drag out all manner of twisted and spun "facts" and "statistics" to show that every token resistance mounted by Congressional Democrats to Shrub's anschluss actually played right into the hands of the "terrorists."
And the American people will eat it up like a bowl of wheaties, right before going to the polls and voting for McCain.
