Call the Civil Rights leaders to march on Denver
Seeing Jesse Jackson on TV today reminded me of how little we see of the heroes of the Civil Rights movement these days. Some of the truly great are gone. But there are some still with us and now would be a great time to honor them and all they did.

Why not use the day of Barack Obama's nomination to call all of these gallant men and women together in Denver so the entire nation can give them thanks for all their work ? Before these heroes came onto the scene in the 1950s, the black community didn't even get to vote. And now they have put forth the next president.

It would be a beautiful celebration.
