This is the best FOX could come up with
Just came back from my boss' office where he was blaring FAUX and they were "discussing" the Impeachment articles.

Their outrage? Not that * doesn't deserve to be impeached (I guess they can't lie to themselves any more). No, they're concerned about how much time and money was "wasted" drafting these.

:puke:

Ugh, no discussion about how much time, money and human life has been wasted by this administration (of course). No, they're only going to say that justice is a waste of taxpayer money.

:grr:

1. Well, hey, put out a collection plate -- I'd pony up a tidy sum to see BushCo brought to justice. .

3. Actually, I find it rather exciting that this is the best the propaganda machine can do.
I mean, really, could this faux outrage be any more lame? Because Congress should be finding out if baseball players use steroids instead of defending the Constitution? Even Nancy Grace is smarter than that!

5. The republicans are penny wise and trillion dollar foolish.
But that's because the trillion is going into their pockets.

7. How much money was spent falsifying and manipulating securtiy reports so that we could ....
spend our soldiers' lives on bush's lies?

How much money was spent on Rove's witch-hunts? On Ken Star's?
I could go on and on.... I am glad to see this weak shit is the best they've got!

8. Every time i bring it up to the "Bush Cult" around here, they say that same shit
And they have for a couple years.

Throwing out the figures spent on this bullshit "war" usually shuts them up. Some say the "war" was needed and of course, these people are lost beyond hope.

Getting into debates with these people is pointless. If they haven't honestly thought this through by now, they never will.

I suggest it's ego or something else afflicting them. Admittance of being wrong is just not a thing they are willing to do?

10. I got into it with a guy about the war yesterday
Edited on Thu Jul-10-08 06:15 PM by margotb822
and I just kept going back to the question "So, it doesn't bother you that top government officials told a thousand lies in order to lead us into an war that had nothing to do with 9/11?"

They really can't get out of that question. They try with "well, Saddam was bad" (easily countered with facts about Osama and 9/11 and the lack of ties to Saddam) or "well, we're there now" (also easlity countered with casualty figures from June, more in Afg than Iraq).

Every way he went, I countered and went back to the original question. That one's a stumper and it kills them!

I love intellectual bullying...it makes the right so mad
