My vision of Obama's Inauguration...
Have his white grandmother from Hawaii, his African grandmother from Kenya and his amerasian sister standing around him on the stage when he takes the oath along with his kids and Michelle.

He will exemplify what we need in the world right now. An intelligent leader with a worldly background who has experienced all aspects of life from a child of mixed race and ethnic background, being poor and from a broken home, raised by a grandmother and grandfather and worked hard to fight all the obstacles put in his way to reach the ultimate American dream.

What a new vision the world will have of our country after 8 years of imperialism and division...

And what I see too, is common folk dancing in the streets everywhere around the world to celebrate the departure of the Gargoyles from Hell!!

8. This is all very weird.
I honestly had a dream last night that I was drafted to choreograph Obama's Inauguration and the ceremonies attendant to same.

I see many of the ideas spelled out here. In addition, I had David Archuleta, a young Mexican-American boy out of Utah, singing the National Anthem somewhere in this scene.

And, whereas I too was born in Hawaii, Honolulu, T.H., to be specific...a few Hawaiian themes. A melting pot, e.g., the theme.

And then I drifted off into another dream...

I love your dream. Talk about wish-fulfillment!

Hey -- My family moved to Oahu when it was still T.H. We settled over the Pali in Kailua. :hi:
