Fox & Friends Carlson: " we're still trying to get the right message out...about the threat of Iran"

http://www.newshounds.us/2008/07/11/fox_and_iranian_propagandists_go_photoshopping_together.php

<snip>

As Gretchen Carlson noted: "It's scary to me that a country like that can use technology like PhotoShop and then appear to be more in control than they really are. {snip} It's all imagery. We know how important imagery is, and keep in mind that we're still trying to get the right message out in our country about the threat of Iran."

1. So Fox admits it's trying to shape and send a message, rather than report facts--
it's not really "We report--you decide"? Get out!!

2. Un-fucking-believable! It was Fox and Friends that was caught photoshopping ...
images of NY Times reporters Jacques Steinberg and Steve Radcliffe because the two dared to question the journalistic ethics of Ruppert Murdoch. Gretchen Carlson is yet another FoxNews bimbo who really IS as fucking dumb as she looks.

The fake troops in Bush's new ad
by mithras the prophet

(From the diaries -- kos)
Appropriately titled "Whatever It Takes", the new BC04 ad uses Bush's convention acceptance speech, stirring music, and images of dedicated troops and families in the heartland. It also uses Photoshopped images to turn a small crowd into a large one cover over Bush at a podium.

4. That's not photo shoped. Bush is doing evil Nazi cloning experiments.
Film at 11:00 on faux news.

5. If you look at a crowd at a Bush speech, and then un-cross your eyes ...
you see a pony!

9. That message
and the f-ing off shore drilling. You can certainly see how public perception is shaped. Every speech I've heard from bush contains references to the economy sinking and the need for destroying the beaches with oil spills. He is equating fixing the economy by drilling off shore. Why do they want to go into Iran at the same time as they want to destroy the environment? Wouldn't we take over Iran's oil fields...just like we did in Iraq? I suppose that they are campaigning for both in hopes of getting one or the other. Damn it makes me mad. Instead of addressing real problems they push what the oil companies want. That is such a failure to the purpose of government. And Faux is the Admin's lapdog.
