What began as a report of suspicious activity at Calgary's Chinook Centre led to a foot chase, an arrest involving a stun gun, and the seizure of $30,000-worth of cocaine.
Mall security noticed two men acting suspiciously while sitting in a 2008 Toyota Corolla on Thursday afternoon in the west parking lot of Sears, Calgary police said Friday. The driver left the car, while the passenger then slid into
the driver's seat and sped off.

When a Calgary police officer followed to question the man, the man threw the black bag to the ground and tried to flee. The two got into a struggle during which police say the suspect tried to grab the officer's gun several times.
The suspect broke free and was chased by the officer into a neighbouring business, said police.
The officer deployed a Taser, which gives an electric shock, but it had no effect on the man. After a second struggle, the Taser was used again to no avail.
The suspect was finally arrested after an extended struggle. The man was found to be wearing body armour, said police.
