We are so screwed as a nation
Just when you think you've heard it all...a lot of employers are really enjoying the abuse and control they have over their employees now by keeping them worried about their jobs. One place I know of has the people left there doing twice the work they used to and they're not allowed to take their vacations anymore or else, "There's 200 f**king applications in my office right now".

Today my plumber told me another plumber he knows took two weeks off after his son died to bury him and to get his emotions back together, His boss fired him.

1. That's OK. The Trickle Down will raise all boats to sewer level.
Then the bosses can tell the remaining employees that they should be grateful to even have a boss to piss on them.
