1. I vote "fabricating polls."
Nobody else is getting results like this.

4. DO NOT believe any poll.
Do not get comfortable. I believe we must act as if we are 15 pts behind. It is NOT McSame that we are up against. Don't be lulled by the fact that he is obviously an idiot. Have we not seen what they are capable of? Do we understand who the enemy is?

7. Hmmm....poll conducted 7/9-7/10......in the middle of the FISA debacle
Perhaps...not such a good political move on Senator Obama's part after all?

8. If they don't continue to tell us it's a dead heat...

1: People might stop watching.
2: The people who are thinking of voting for the candidate that is behind might stay home.
3: The people who are thinking of voting for the candidate that is ahead might stay home.

But most importantly, you can't steal an election everybody knows is a blowout. But if everybody thinks it's close, the numbers can be fudged.

10. Really odd, how the gap in electoral votes is so much higher than Obama's poll leads.
Like people here have said, I think the polls are skewed by the fact that a roughly equal number of Democrats and Republicans are being polled, when registered Democrats now outnumber their counterparts.

12. With Faux news and 'headline' news running anti-Obama propaganda 24-7
it's amazing they haven't got a lead.

On the other hand, who watches their junk anymore anyway?

13. Go with Phrigndumass. He helped us through the primaries with his analyses.
Here's his latest today, Friday, July 11. Frankly, he should charge for this service, but it's free on the Democratic Underground. Ask him how he got his screen name! It's a cute story!

More like propaganda to make people think it's close. That way, the election will be easier to steal for him. Face it, rove's protege has probably already been schooled in vote manipulation via remote laptop.

17. It's in the media's interest to portray this as a close race.
Edited on Sat Jul-12-08 04:18 PM by LostInAnomie
If they don't they are going to be out of a lot of money. No one is going to tune in to hear about Obama running away with it.

The truth is that Obama is WAY ahead in key states. The Democrats have a HUGE lead in registering voters. We are MUCH more energized about voting for our candidate than the Repukes are about theirs. And, the real campaign hasn't begun.

The media is going to try their hardest to make this one a squeaker. Don't believe me? Watch Race For The Whitehouse and see how much they speculate and fabricate "the mind of the voter" over the most trivial of issues.
