Why Are the Tombstone's Sexist?
Edited on Sat Jul-12-08 06:38 AM by tekisui
All of the poor disruptors are not "He's". Shouldn't it read, "Here Lies a Disruptor, They Disrupted Poorly"?

And, how about a DU Graveyard? One we can visit and see all the Disruptors in one place?

1. A DU graveyard would be bigger than the current members list by several orders of magnitude

2. True. Maybe a "Recently Parted" graveyard?

8. At any given moment, about 20% of the "Registered users" are tombstoned.
But many of the remaining 80% are no longer active.

3. But that would put the sentence in disagreement with itself.
Single "disruptor" versus plural "they."

How about this: "Here lies a disruptor who disrupted poorly."

5. It's a reference to Indana Jones and the Last Crusade.
"He chose... poorly."

6. It originates with Freeper disruptions and they are almost exclusively male.

And no. A "graveyard is a bad idea." A lot of good people who were driven to be overzealous "died" during the bloody primary.

There was enough dancing on graves during that time.

On edit, and of course the Indian Jones reference that Skinner pointed out.
