The "fun" of ever tuning to these poisoned electrons is to see how outrageous or desperate they become. Fortunately there's Newshounds that does a great job going into that muck and coming out with gems.

This has been a rough year at Rupertville...ratings are down, revenues are down and the Mighty Wurlitzer is sounding like a set of broken bagpipes...and the worse things get the more shrill they get. The Jackson story was a classic example (I'm sure Bob Greenwald is already at work on this one)...playing the race card to the hilt and trying to milk the "story" as both a big "exclusive" (congrats to Chicken Noodle News for biting on that one) and trying to tease they had even "more". It's exploitation teevee these days...they've turned "news" into a reality show.

Here's hoping that network burns a big hole in Rupert's pocket this year.
