They're the ones who have absolutely zero mention of party affiliation in their ads! Oh and their message is almost the same as the Dems on energy, environment, health care, CHANGE!, everything.

I think it's funny that they're so afraid to be equated with Bush and the past 8 years that they won't even tell people that they're Republican.

2. It's not like they weren't supporting Bush the last 8 yrs...
They just don't want us to find out about it. After all they've all reformed magically into "change" candidates now. :)

5. They know "GOP" scares off votes.
That's why they call themselves "Independents" or "Libertarians".

That's not to say there aren't any real Independents or Libertarians. But that more GOPhers will be calling themselves that.

9. If you say McCain=Bush, you could be in real trouble...
They want as far away from that moron as they can get....now that the damage has been done, with their blessing.

10. With their blessing is exactly right...
I don't remember hearing any of these stealth candidates speaking out against the Bush cabal the past 8 years. As the old saying goes "you can run but you can't hide". ;)

12. It would be kind of hard for Doug to hide his affiliation
and I doubt he would. In his district there are plenty of like minded.. uhh... people.
