"Liberal" New Haven censors doll likeness of mayor.

Un-fricken believable! An art show in my city's revered downtown Library is subjected to censorship by the city's chief Librarian who is obviously more than a little frightened of our mayor's notoriously thin skin. The doll is so innocuous, even a bit boring, that it makes the situation laughable, if not humiliating for its citizens who pride themselves on having a history rich in the ethos of revolutionary liberty in our city.

I am appalled that this has happened in my "progressive" city. I am contacting the CT Civil Liberties Union and asking what can be done about this...

2. No, mayor John DeStefano is just a hot tempered guy. In many ways, he's

been pretty good for the city but he cannot tolerate any dissension. This is nonsense of the highest order and it is also WRONG. I'll bet our civil libertarians who teach at Yale (particularly the Law School) are having fits and spells over it.
