My fiance says I spend too much time reloading threads looking for new posts. What the heck does SHE know? It is at the same time UPLIFTING, SCARY, and DEPRESSING. Not to mention INFORMATIVE, ARGUMENTIVE, and in general THE BEST READ ON THE NET.

We have two cats, a Himalayan and a Persian. Both are a source of constant laughter here. Venus is loving and sometimes you can't get her off of your lap, and we call Harley "Hardly" because he's a chicken who jumps then hides at the sound of a sneeze.

It's a myth foisted on Americans.

My mescal is fermented in terra cotta pots and has been made by the same family for over 400 years. Triple distilled, and in the last distillation has a boneless chicken breast suspended in the vessel to balance the fruits and nuts that were part of the first and second distillations.

Two shots and you feel like you're walking with pillows strapped to the bottom of your feet. I say "shots", but you don't shoot it. You SIP it.

Come to Big Bear Lake and I'd be happy to share some with you.

It's a great source for up to the second news! It's not uncommon to see things come on tv news that were covered on depth here three days previously.

37. I'm in mandatory treatment for my DUish behavior, since the intervention.

That came right after saying, "WTF" in the church parking lot.
Management, AKA Mrs. JL2, took immediate action. (All those with long term spouses/partners know what that means.) I no longer refer to DU at family get togethers, use some of our quaint language around family members, or go beyond time limits. She was relieved, though, to realize that I don't have an online girlfriend.
