with the realization that it's not the New Yorker cover that matters. It's what the other media do with it. The whole thing could turn into nothing, or they could find a way to twist that image into a campaign-wrecker. I don't necessarily think we should sit around with our thumbs anally occupied, but doom has not yet struck here.

3. Politico and The Page all have it up as their top story. Drudge has it

up but down in the articles.

This will be the big political story tomorrow - no doubt.

It will rerun - with cover prominately and repeatedly shown - on all the cable networks to be discussed by dumb-ass pundits ad nauseum.

So I certainly don't think the only people who will see it are the oh-so-hip people who love satire and subscribe to The New Yorker. If those were the only people getting it, it wouldn't matter but that certainly isn't going to be the case.
