Dick Cheney gave an erstwhile friend a faceful of buckshot last year or the year before -- and of course showed no remorse whatsoever. The other man apologized from his hospital bed.

I started referring to him as Deadeye Dick (thinking of the Wild West, not Vonnegut), but then so did probably a thousand other people.

...and apparently "dead eye dick" is a slang term for gay men who like to do the "top"(it has to do with sexual anatomy)
