I love Jon Stewart
Keep them real Jon. You'd think the bank collapse was more important than one magazine cover.

6. I was just thinking the same thing. Thank goodness for TDS
and Jon and Stephen and their writers. They are brilliant, dead on accurate and boy does it feel great to laugh. Things have gotten really tense around here these days.

7. I think the bigger point is that the New Yorker was
laughing at M$M and they all missed it. It is they who keep spreading the lies. The New Yorker may finally have silenced them on this topic. That was one great Jon Stewart segment...He got Blitzer, Tweety, all of Fox and Anderson Cooper in one fell scoop. Bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

12. Well as offended as they were at the WH press dinner
Edited on Tue Jul-15-08 10:27 PM by malaise
when Colbert skewered them on a BBQ pit, it was clear since then that they don't understand satire starting with the jackass on CSpan who invited Colbert. They thought he was one of them. That was one of the funniest nights ever on cable, and on several levels. Yet again, they've been exposed - as naked as their idol Bush.

15. I guess
the New Yorker cover didn't translate for some folks the way Jon laid it out tonight.

He had to connect the dots for folks I guess.

It really was brilliant.

16. The best part is that Tweety, Blitzer, Cooper, Gregory
and the jackasses at Fox didn't even see that they are the joke. That is how the M$M hacks have painted Barack and Michelle. They all attempted to condemn the New Yorker, but still used the word rumor. Even yesterday they continued to call lies rumors to keep them spreading. I hope the NY has more fun on this.
