Do you believe the Bush family is making millions on oil speculation? Is there any way to find out? |
|
At yesterday's press conference, Idiot-boy, said, "Now, people say, what about the speculators? I think you can't help but notice there is some volatility in price in the marketplace, which obviously there are some people in the -- buying and selling on a daily basis. On the other hand, the fundamentals are what's really driving the long-term price of oil, and that is, demand for oil has increased, and supply has not kept up with it. And so part of our strategy in our country has got to be to say, okay, here are some suspected reserves and that we ought to go after them in an environmentally friendly way."
I do not believe the price is being driven exclusively by supply and demand. I think a large chunk is from unregulated speculation. Since the Bushes have been up to their necks in oil, don't you think they're involved somewhere?

1. They aren't doing it directly. |
|
The companies they are invested in are doing it. That's just my opinion.

2. YES! But proving it would be hard! The Bush family is invested in four areas. |
|
Banking..oil...defense and gold..
Notice three of those have gone thru the roof.
The banks are in crisis. BUT Bush makes money off of crisis.
Maybe he's shorting them.
I'd look in the Queen's bank first!

18. What about the prison industry? |
|
There have been rumors for years about Barbara investing in some prison corporation, but it's hard to track them down. Nonetheless, I wouldn't be surprised.

3. A lot of it has to do with artificial shortage |
|
And as I posted elsewhere, since Bushco knew they were going to do this, they bought in at ~$35 per barrel and are pushing for the price to get to $200 or more.
Beyond that, the oil in Iraq is now worth more than $10 Trillion.
Are they profiting? Absolutely!

4. Maybe they are on that banking list from Liechtenstein, however, |
|
most likely you will find their assets and acquisitions on file in Dubai. You can be sure they are up to their necks in it.

13. Bush family making millions? |
|
I think this "blame the oil speculators" is the new RW meme for taking heat off a disastrous foreign policy that started this whole oil price spiral thing. When Bush was nominated, oil was at $10 per barrel. Admittedly that was too low but it reflected the geo-political situation at the time. When he took office oil had climbed to $30 but then dropped back to $20 after a few months.
The only people on the planet who did not know what was going to happen when GW Bush became POTUS where the ones who voted for him.

14. Rat Race has been won |
|
Edited on Wed Jul-16-08 02:50 PM by LeftHander
Oil speculation by uber rich....planned, So people holding oil futures can sell at big profit to replace real estate losses. Also part of the cover of hiding the "have-mores" quietly cashing out and tanking our economy. They got middle class America invested into real-estate and financiers filled pensions and retirement accounts with sub-prime mortgage backed securities so "have-mores" could buy up the real securities. Now with the dollar low, they are cashing out, selling out while the offers are hot. They pumped up the DOW to 14K+ and started oil speculation program and started selling. To make sure the middle class stayed middle class and below for decades to come they had to destroy the value of the single best investment ordinary Americans can have. Buying a home.
the rat race is over. The rats won.
By the time Obama takes office in 2009. The economy will be in shambles and the nation flat broke.
It was the plan all along. Total fleecing of America by a handful of uber rich and uber powerful.

They're not gonna be the one family at the Big Oil Christmas Party who didn't get a piece of the action. They're running the entire damn world! You know, I think we all underestimate Bush and his intelligence. I mean seriously, he's GOT TO be a genius. This is going to go down as one of the best business deals in history. Become President, start a war in the most oil rich place on the globe to drive up price and stake your claim, then use Govt. money to give tax rebates which the American people just have to hand back over to the oil creeps. It's perfect! and it's working...
