I would give Bush a C+ overall, but it is the curse of political correctness that we have unnecessarily paid in the lives of brave U.S. military heroes by not unleashing the total might of our armed forces effectively. We should have devastated, virtually annihilated the enemy and everyone and everything that facilitated them in any way, way back when our U.S. Marine base was blown up in Beirut. Having done so, I am convinced there would have been no Somalia, U.S. Cole, U.S. embassy bombings and no 9-11. Worrying about hurting feelings gets you killed.

What’s the difference between your calling Hillary Clinton a bitch and telling Barack Obama (and other Democratic senators) to suck on a machine gun and the Dixie Chicks' saying they were ashamed to be from Texas, like President Bush?

I was much more passionate and entertaining.

What makes you feel so resolute that the Democrats are bad/wrong and Republicans are good/right?

It can be boiled down to the simple reality that the liberal Democrats would forbid law-abiding Americans the right to keep and bear arms, but have the arrogance to force us to pay for their armed security. A well-defined Marxist modus operandi if ever there were one.

What makes you feel proud and positive about the future of America?

That the most productive, conscientious Americans are still the majority and can accomplish anything we are unleashed to do.

Will you ever run for political office?

I had a bumper crop of crowbars this year. I should probably put them to good use soon.

In music business parlance, that means he is Toast. No one wants to deal with him, which means if he has a record contract, it is with a small, independent label run out of someone's den. I am sure his agent and manager are long-suffering and deeply pained. Trust me when I tell you: no major record company will touch him. He's just not worth the effort.

The only reason Ted gets heard these days is because occasionally he will play a club(and a lot of these clubs are real toilets) that has a promotional partnership with a radio station, the club owner will beg and plead for the station to do a phoner for the show, because tickets are soft, and the station knows which questions to ask that will set him off. Ted, when set off, says outrageous things and radio loves outrageous things. Outrageous things play well to the guys with 3 teeth and the IQ of a wet fern. You know, guys who cannot figure out that there internettin' stuff and whatnot.

At the core of things, Ted is over, he cannot accept that fact and he needs the money(little of that) and the ego boost that playing live provides him.

Ted was a real pain in the ass when he was riding high, as was Leber&Krebs, his management then, and he accrued a lot of ill will in the industry. Now, a dish is being served. Ice cold. In truth, being an aging right-wing buffoon is all he really has. It's the only thing keeping him and his career, such as it is, going.

39. The venue where he is playing here is no first rate joint

It's an old movie theater converted into a concert venue. They do have some good shows there (BB King comes through once a year or so and John Prine played there in the last year or so) but it's not a major concert venue by any means. It is also used for political events a couple times a year.

The guy who owns it let the Minutemen use it for free for their national conference in Feb this year. We tried to ask him not to host them but he refused and went on the local FOX affiliate and claimed we were "threatening" him. So we told him we would boycott his venue. So I don't go there anymore. The local Democratic party is having a fundraiser there in a few weeks but I won't be going.

So Ted is in like company with this owner. And the owner is probably a big fan.

Ted might get a few real small theater gigs, but mostly, he's playing clubs. And not everywhere, either. Now, that theater owner might be motivated to hire him, but a lot aren't, as he's not a hot ticket and he and his fans are a real pain in the ass.

I mean, the guy even has trouble getting fair work. He's too squirrelly and his fans show up drunk and rowdy.

Ted's toast, and the country is moving away from him. Betcha he knows it, too. So what's left? White Supremicist gigs in the woods, on a generator-powered PA system on milk crates?
