Is the guy covering for Randi this week nuts?

He kicked off today's Randi Rhodes show trying to restart the Hillary/Obama war. Basically, he's stated that any Hillary backer who isn't now backing Obama is an idiot.

I have been under the impression that most Hillary's backers have accepted the fact that Obama is our candidate. If I'm right, this guy is just opening a sore wound that has been healing. And if so, he's doing it solely for the purpose of trying to be controversial and draw attention to himself.

Then again, it's possible I'm misreading this and there are still many Hillary backers who are refusing to accept Obama. If I'm wrong about this, would you please enlighten me.

A young woman (Hillary supporter) called from Florida and was giving an EXCELLENT explanation of how and why she feels as she does, and he cut her off!

If it had been a ranter, he probably would have kept her on, but when there was someone who was (IMO) a good spokesperson for those who aren't happy with the current situation, he didn't give her a chance.

Right after the NH primary he was filling for the 3pm slot here in LA and he was a total prick. He jumped on that "Clinton cheated" band wagon and when someone was speaking against what we was saying he kept talking over them with a sarcastic "Uh, huh. Most people who are still angry will slide on over when McCain starts campaigning. I had decided not to prolong the inevitable myself, and just started backing Obama even though I hadn't warmed up to him. Still had some bitter flavor in my mouth for a bit. Then McCain said gay couples shouldn't adopt because a child needs both parents. That washed away any lingering problems for me.

McCain will take care of the Clinton supporters who still hesitate. Dumbass DJs hurling insults will just make them defensive and delay the process.

My opinion, anyway. Probably wrong; always am.

This guy is all over the place. I was reading a past thread on him and everything that comes out of his mouth is ill-informed and aimed to the lowest common denominator. Stands for Political Unity Means Action, or Political Unity My Ass. It's not clear if is started as a pro-Clinton or an anti-Obama org, but it became both. It's not gender specific.

Cougar is slang for an older woman who prowls for younger men. It was used in Ocean's Thirteen.

It seems like some are picking on PUMA by associating it with cougar, so there's some sexism possible.

The folks at Randi message board were pretty pissed about his rants about a "welfare queen".

Looks like Johnny is a grand diva and judgmental. He ranted about a women in a grocery store who was paying with WIC vouchers. He made comments on her clothes and the fact she had an expensive cell phone and drove a 2007 Honda. Who the fuck made him judge and jury? Maybe she was shopping for someone. Maybe she's lost her job? He's a fucking asshole.

Back in 1988 I lived with my best friend and our two brothers. Our brothers were both on welfare because they had AIDS. One time Diane, my brother and myself went shopping for the household groceries. Now by Mr. Wendall's standards we were probably "welfare queens" because we were dressed nice and were riding in Diane's Volvo. We used our brothers food stamps to pay for their share of the groceries and paid the rest out of Diane and I's joint checking account. I'm sure ol' Johnny aka Gladys Kravitz would have thrown a shit fit when he saw me Diane show her Gold Amex for her second ID for the check.
