At one time the economy of the rich was tied to the economy of the workers. I think that the wealthy have been able to float their economy above the workers without any common bonds remaining.

Has the "poor" economy really put the hurt on you? Is there a political solution to help improve the economy? Is there any reason for politics to get involved at all?

1. affecting me? no one is using my services, so my business is folding

4. That sucks

I know exactly what you mean- up until recently I couldn't afford anything but the bare essentials...and not all of those either!

I hope you're able to weather the storm- assuming these disaster capitalists don't win, the market for the good you sell will come back.

2. It hasn't effected my income yet but my outgo is sure increasing.

I just received my yearly increase at work. I was given 2% which is standard at my employer. My costs have increased at least 9% or better so I evctivly took a 7% pay cut.

I am thankful I am still working though.

it's way down...I am too old to be looking for work and too young to draw Social Security.

And living AZ... well, it's difficult getting around without it. Don't know how I'll manage.

its hell having to coordinate trips with other families....but you can all feel better about your sacrifices if you share them and joke about them
