The return of separate cash/credit prices for gas......
It seems that was an anomaly for years, at least here in southeast Michigan.....But as gas prices really began to spike earlier this year, I started noticing a few stations with separate pricing.
But as I was driving east on 12 Mile Road yesterday toward I-75, the separate pricing seemed to be the rule rather than the exception among gas stations.

Is that the case everywhere?

3. Watch robberies increase at stations holding more cash as every fill-up
...produces $60 to $100 cash

4. I've seen gas stations do that along Cape Cod ...
a couple years back, I pulled into one and they had the credit card ones 5 cents cheaper than cash. Odd, until you realize ALL the pumps had signs saying "Cash Only".

7. which makes good business sense
to me anyway. this might have something to do with what the station owners pay to the CC company for the use of the card.

And, if you pay at the pump with a CC you dont go inside to blow your money on a donut or soda

Peace

5. We have a couple of stations here in Jackson, MI doing that. BTW, even though oil
has gone down by some $17bbl in the last week, our local gas price went back up to $4.19 yesterday.

Go figure...

9. Ditto.
NE Indiana - I kept hearing "oil prices PLUNGED!" and all I could think of was, OK - why did my price go up?
