1. Think of all the power that could be generated
by hooking up any legislative chamber in the country. Between all the hot air and using the BS in a manure plant, there'd be gigawatts of power available. And your average politician would finally serve a useful purpose.

3. We also have thousands of miles of coastline
Where the hydraulic power of tidal actions should be tapped.

4. A lot could generate their own power
If the price of wind generators and solar cells get a little cheaper people could generate their own power.Just think no more eletric bills. If a person lives in the country this could pay for itself in just a few years.

5. Yeah, but is it OUR wind? And who will we go to war for once we get addicted to it?

:silly:

BTW: Who made us addicted to it? Solely ourselves, or was peer psychology any part of the inducement? Sorry to whine.
