5. As a Dad of a grown daughter, all I can say is, Yuck.

Sick, sick, sick.

I took her swimming, hiking, out for ice cream, camping, to the movies, museums, libraries; dragged her through old cemeteries and tried to get her to go down the trucks aisle instead of Barbies at Toys R Us; took her up north and down south and out east and west - and lots more.

10. These Girls Get So Fucked Up

The teenage son of dear friends has a penchant for dating these nice Christian girls, well, he used to. He's from a *very* good home, very loving, very stable and supportive. His parents had a very romantic beginning and are rock steady and that's what he wants for himself, but wants to focus on his career first with an eye on the future. For now he wants a girlfriend, doesn't want sexual involvement.

Twice now, he's started dating these dears, thinking they wouldn't be into having a sexual relationship w/out a marriage commitment and twice he's had his heart broken when they started sleeping with someone else because he wasn't putting the goods out. Go figure.

I admire the underlying intent of the people behind the movement - girls who have great relationships with good, responsible fathers are going to look for men who aren't assholes. It's just a shame they have to add all this baggage to it.
