Bush's "Time Horizon" is an investment term. Doesn't that bother anyone?
According to investipedia:

The length of time over which an investment is made or held before it is liquidated. Time horizons can range from seconds, in the case of a day trader, all the way up to decades for a buy-and-hold investor. There is no "right" time frame - it depends on the investor's individual objectives.

So is this a message to the corporate base, is Iraq just another investment, are our troops dying for Bush's investment. God the man is crass, tasteless and immoral!!!

2. Why bother even trying to make sense of it? By now it's more than
common knowledge that any statement that has ever been made by them has at least 5 sides. The side that eventually emerges as fact is far more bitter & sour than even the most cynical critic could have ever predicted. With that in mind, one could reasonably say that they have no intention of considering any form of "Time Horizon" or whatever else you wish to call it.

3. What bothers me is...
you can keep moving toward the horizon forever, and it never gets any closer.

4. When it comes to money, Bush pays attention
That doesn't mean he's good at it. It just means he pays attention.

5. Very astute obseration - yes, it's code for
"We stay until we've wrung 'em dry". Just saying it is symbolically crass; the real crime is the action taken, of course.

(And God forbid he should say timeTABLE.)

bu$h* is more than happy to help direct the war to afghanistan and take the spotlight off of the fiasco that is iraq.
