Courage - I thought I had it, until I saw this amazing person
Looking up videos on music and Parkinson's (music is the my wife's main outlet) I found this amazing person.

I could sit here all night staring at my screen with my hands on the keyboard and not write what this simple little video shows.

If I could give this guy a hug him and tell him thanks I would - all I can do right now is pass it on.

This video touched us both deeply. May not mean a lot to others, but this thread is my way of telling him he is someone wonderful.

4. Music has some wild effects on a lot of neurological diseases
You've never lived until you've gone into a room full of stroke patients who can neither speak nor understand and play "Happy Birthday" or "Jingle Bells" and have them all sing to it. It's an overwhelming experience for a few of them who haven't been able to say words for a long time. Yes, the words come out right. Speech therapists have been able to use this as a starting off point to give them some speech back.

That people with Parkinson's can improve their coordination to music comes at little surprise to me.

This guy is an example of something else I like to say, dancing is about how it makes you feel, not how it makes you look.

5. As I said on another thread, God loves you when you dance.
Tomorrow, I am going to send you something you can flat-out boogie to.

Tom

6. Way to contact him......
It appears that the man in the great video is also the one who posted the video. He gives more information about himself on other videos

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z-rHnlRubnY

There's a send message link associated with his name: http://www.youtube.com/user/reverett123

And maybe best of all, there's a link to a Yahoo group he appears to be active in: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/PDpower/messages

Thanks for posting this!
