| Elkhart Lake vintage race car parade |

Every year during the Brian Redman Vintage Weekend at Road America here in beautiful Elkhart Lake Wi., the fans and residents are treated to a spectacle from an era of American automotive ground pounding dominance. This year's parade was extra special. All the usual suspects were present. The Mclarens, Chaparals, Scarabs, Cobras, 60's Mustang GT's and Vettes, Porsche and BMW. This year as the cars made their way back to the track each would stop at the stop sign on main street and slowly pull out onto the intersection and show what real American muscle was all about, much to the delight of the few thousand people lining the streets. It was a reminder of the greatness that is America.

A couple of GT 40's. Last year they raffled one off at the local gas station. $100 a ticket.
