It's the same thing that's wrong with Wisconsin. We're all iceheads in this neck of the woods. People run around without their hats in the winter too much and the outer layers of their brains freeze. Unfortunately, that outer layer is what we call the cortex, where all the higher thinking functions are located. Freeze that stuff up one too many times, and you're talking real brain damage.

Anyway, that's how I explain things like Norm Coleman, Jim Sensenbrenner and the last couple of Supreme Court elections in Wisconsin to myself. I mean, ya really gotta start wonering about a state where Jesse Ventura comes across as one of the saner politicians.
