Al Franken and Air America Radio
Edited on Tue Jul-22-08 02:54 PM by Eric J in MN
I often listen to "The Stephanie Miller Show" on "Air America Minnesota" during my drive to work.

Maybe you listen to another radio show on your local AAR affiliate. Or maybe you used to enjoy listening to AAR but don't anymore.

Either way, AAR wouldn't have gotten anywhere without Al Franken's participation, and so we have him to thank for the hours of listening to liberal radio we've had.

Al Franken is now running for US Senate in Minnesota. Franken has the Democratic endorsement.

We can help him at:

When Al Franken had a radio show on AAR, one of his guests via phone was Senator Harry Reid (D-NV). Al Franken criticized Reid for voting for the Bush Bankruptcy Bill during the interview.

That shows how Al Franken is a voice we need in the US Senate.

2. I agree.
I hardly ever listen to AAR anymore since they dumped Randi. Thom Hartmann is the only one I still listen to and Rachel Maddow when I can catch her and that isn't very often because of the time my local affiliate airs her, although I do catch her on KO.

3. I probably would have never heard of Randi Rhodes or Rachel Maddow...
...if "Air America Radio" hadn't launched, with the help of Al Franken.

6. That is Al Franken's impression of Strom Thurmond...
(for people who didn't listen to that bit.)
