Has anyone else noticed just HOW MANY corruption cases are springing up?

Has anyone else noticed just HOW MANY corruption cases are springing up?
It seems like business could do no wrong for 7 years and suddenly every other business is under investigation or being prosecuted for corruption/negligence.

Personally I'm thinking that the role of an administration as examples of character and values is perhaps the most important. Now that some people are coming forward it seems as though whistleblowers and attorneys are thinking "Wow, so it's ok for me to do what is right? Well then, look at this!"

Or am I imagining things?
