Why the heck does Tweety keep saying that Romney would deliver Michigan to McCain?
I was just watching the Tweety Show and they were discussing McCain VP picks and Tweets said he thinks the pick will be Romney because he delivers Michigan and maybe PA to McCain. Why? First, Romney hasn't lived in MI for over 30 years. Second, his father was last Governor in 1968, how many people are still alive who remember Gov. Romney? Third, Sure Romney was born in MI but Bush was born in CT and that didn't do him any good.

I just don't see Michigan being blown away by Mittens being selected.

10. Great minds think alike
I just wish the truth about how he made his millions would actually come out - leveraged buy-outs of firms in financial trouble, stripping of assets and workers laid off.
Huckabee at least knew what Mitty was really like.

11. Yeah, but he was sort of "beloved" - and Michigan is a state...
...where people have long roots and a lot of pride. My Dem parents knew Gov. Romney and even they thought he was a great guy.

12. Tweety is a huge fan of spouting CW whether it's based on facts or not.

Romney would be a horrible choice for McCain as VP. Because of McCain's age Repukes are going to be considering REALLY hard whether or not to vote for McCain based on his VP. They aren't going to vote for the chance of having a Mormon, ex- Pro Choice, ex- Gay Rights, ex- Governor of Mass. for president.

Plus, the pundits have forgotten how much of a ass-clown, and butt of all jokes Romney was during the primary.

22. Why PA?
I can sort of see some reasoning for Michigan, but why would Mitt deliver PA?

Just as an aside, wasn't Dad/Gov Romney the moderate Republican that the "librul media" character-assassinated over the "brainwashing" comment about Viet Nam?
