Listening to the anti-gay bigot pigs on C-Span

There's a wonderful woman on C-Span, and ex-military officer and lesbian named Joan Darrah, who is talking about how DADT should be replaced by a non-discriminatory policy, and how DADT negatively affected her life in the military.

The haters are calling in with their usual lies and their usual poison.

I detest them.

4. People who are putting their ass on the lines for us

Strange that it is okay for spouse abusers, drunks, hot check writers and incompetents are still allowed to serve openly in the military. I had to deal with them almost on a daily basis.

3. the world has changed around them

recent public attitudes have drastically shifted away from the bigotry that these folks still hold dear; I think that makes them even more angry and bilious. The good news is now they have even more people to heat - the large majority of the public that supports overturning DODT and allowing openness for those serving.

5. Interesting Topic Selection

I thought Ms. Darrah did a great job in spelling out where things are at...and then having the retired General who authored the report also calling helped give a better indication of what this report is about and how things need to change and gays should be allowed to serve openly.

What I find interesting is with all the important things going on how C-SPIN picked this topic and why. Let's say I have my suspicions. Now we have a regime sockpuppet (as usual) to spew white noise about energy. Be assured we'll hear about drilling and coal and natural gas...the con job continues. Then I expect an AEI or Heritage Institute aparachnik or some other right wing spinner out there on another topic to divert from real issues and skew things toward a GOOP perspective. C-SPIN at its best.
